Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and electric car maker Tesla founder Elon Musk have engaged in a war of words. The war of words is over the order to remove the photo of the stabbing incident in the Sydney church from X, the social media owned by Musk.

In 2022, Elon Musk bought the ownership of Twitter. Then the name of this medium is changed to X. Bishop Marie Emmanuel was recently stabbed in a church in Sydney. Later, some videos of the attack were spread on social media. The Australian government claims the videos are fueling tensions among residents of Sydney, known for its multiculturalism.

X authorities should ensure their users around the world do not see videos of the Sydney stabbing on social media, an Australian judge ruled on Monday. The court made the ruling based on a petition by a group that monitors the country's internet activities.

X authorities said they would challenge a notice issued by Australia's e-safety commissioner to remove posts related to the attack on the bishop from the social media site. The Federal Court in Sydney subsequently granted a temporary injunction against X globally.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said on Tuesday that his government is ready to fight the mask. Referring to Musk as an arrogant billionaire, Albanese said, "He (Musk) considers himself above the law." He does not respect even common etiquette.

Musk indicated today that he will fight the court order.

In a post on X, Musk wrote, "Our concern is, if a country is allowed to censor content for all countries, as the e-Safety Commissioner of Australia claims, how can any country be stopped from imposing controls on the entire Internet system."

Earlier, Musk posted a meme. There X is mentioned as a place of free speech. And other social media have been called supporters of censorship and propaganda. Musk captioned the post: 'Don't ask me, just ask the Prime Minister of Australia.'
