Medical classes are online, said the health minister

Health and Family Welfare Minister Samant Lal Sen has ordered to take general classes online in medical colleges of the country. However, he asked to take the clinical classes in the air-conditioned room of the body. The Health Minister informed the journalists after observing the physical condition of Professor Anu Muhammad at the Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute on Monday.

Samant Lal Sen said, "I have spoken to the principals of the medical colleges. I inquired about how the students are staying there, what is the condition of their hostel. We have decided that their classes will be online. I have ordered to bring the patients air-conditioned room and take the clinical classes.

When the journalists asked about the measures being taken in the hospitals in summer, the health minister said that he had spoken to the directors and civil surgeons of the hospitals all over the country. I have instructed all hospitals to keep the hospital empty without admitting patients who are not undergoing surgery for the time being, so that children and the elderly, who are more affected, get a chance. He said, we have prepared the hospital which DNCC had during Corona. If necessary, we will use that hospital. But hopefully the weather will be fine.

State Minister of Health Rokeya Sultana was present at this time.
